To the Best of my knowledge based on facts that I can find This home was Built in 1906 by Dr. J L Murray purchased by me-Cindy Ruth Page (4th daughter) and Parents Charles Elton and Mary Nell Page in 2004 for $75,000. It has since been a project of restoration(over $60,000 additional invested) which includes building code updates of Complete New Electrical Wiring and Complete New Plumbing. A bathroom has been added that is outfitted with a "Premier Bath" name brand side-step tub. The final plans to complete the restoration are to replace the two side doors on the front of the house, back to wood frame windows, and French Door on the left side where the original home had two windows. The change of the side windows to French Doors is necessary due to the owner Charles Elton Page is a bi-lateral amputee, which requires handicap accessibility doorway and ramp. The Carport was added in Early 2013 with the same Colonial Style Architect. This addition meets all new standard building codes- ie.(10foot clearance for ambulance-911, and support poles seated on concrete pads a minimum of three feet in the ground) approved by City Building Inspector Greg Bird. This home now has Foyer, Parlor, Sun Room, Formal Dining Room, Den/Breakfast Room, Sewing Room, Master Bed Room with Bath Room, Parent's Bed Room and Private Bath Room, and Two Laundry Rooms Downstairs-- Stairwell to Upstairs Landing Pad and the Upstairs has Two Bed Rooms, Full Bath Room with Laundry Hook-Ups, and a Great Room which encompasses Studio Kitchen/Living Room, Dining Area. The Addition of Concrete Driveway meets State Handicap Accessible Standards, and the Front Block Sidewalk Wall and New Cornerstone Monument purchased from Lexington Monument has been installed with new concrete steps and walkway to front door of home. This is a Beautiful Home and the owner has full intentions of registering it on the Historical Sites of Henderson County, Lexington, TN after completion of restoration and Gated Fence is Installed.
